Sunday 6th June The Humberston School 2010
The show is really looking good now and we are able to confirm that the one and only Reverend Bob (Rob Hallam) be be attending this years show
after work committments stopped him last year at the last minute, he will be joined by another Max'd car club supporter and past show attendee Andy "Millsy" Mills who is a freelance jounalist and works for Redline and the Time attack 2010 series and was a part of the Max Power team when the club first started back in 2001.
We are looking really good o nthe clubs atttending front as more clubs are wanting to attend the show and we have a good mixture of cars from all over the country ranging from Saxo's to mighty Skylnes and this is sure to add a great selection of sports, performance and modified cars that will give all petrolheads a real insight into the wide variety of cars chosen as all the different types of individuals as there showing there cars for you the public to come and see and support our chosen charity this year The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire air ambulance who save so many peoples lives when the situation is too awkward for the normal emergency services.
We had a good turnout of Vintage and classic cars last year and hope to do the same this year with a varied display of these rare and normally unseen cars. Last year the cars were from the very early 1900's right upto the 1980's and the public really like the variety of cars on display.
This year also sees the return of the Historic karting club and a fine display of karts from differen areas of karting in the past, we hope to have at least 12 karts and the organisers of the series who will tell you all you need to know about the series and when and where you can see it or even get involved.
We also hope to have a variety of high perfomance sports cars including Lamborghini's Porshes and Ferrari's and some awesome American muscle cars.
We also welcome back some of the Drift cars that are tearing up the tracks with their tyre smoking sideways driving skills which are a must to watch for any motorsport loving petrol head as htese cars vary 200 hp Toyota's t 600+ hp Skylines and supra's etc.We cannot confirm at this stage how many cars will be attending as there is an event the weekend before and it depends on how many cars survive the weekend befores battles!
The confirmed Car clubs/groups attending so far are:
Max'd car club
Skyline owners club
RS owners club
Focus ST owners Club
We really need the suport of the public so please can you spread the word for us and help us to make the show a great success.
Martyn and Jo Show and club founders.
We also have a few Traders but this year has seen the number drop due the the ever talked about recession but in this case some are better than none and these are the ones confirmed for now:
